Clinical Practice Coordinator

CapitalCare is one of the largest publicly funded continuing care organizations in Canada. Operating in Edmonton and area since 1963, our 2,700 staff members provide care and services for more than 1,400 elderly and disabled adults living in 11 care centres, as well as over 300 clients living in the community. Department: Nursing Services - Brain Injury & Alternate Level of Care
Hours of Work: 38.75 Hours Per Week; Days; 0830-1645H

Regular Full Time FTE: 1.00

Works interdependently with physicians and guides and coordinates the multidisciplinary team to provide and promote quality, comprehensive health services to residents, utilizing a holistic approach with a goal of managing the health needs of these residents.

Baccalaureate degree in Nursing is required.
Masters degree in Nursing is an asset.
Completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Advanced Practice Certificate Program or equivalentpreferred.

Registration with the appropriate Alberta licensing body for Registered Nurses or Registered Psychiatric Nurses is required.

Charge nurse, or supervisory experience is an asset.
3-5 years clinical experience in care of residents of specific program is an asset.
An equivalent combination of education, skills and experience may be considered.

and procedures; and is responsible for maintaining self-wellness and reduced absenteeism.
Reports any unsafe acts or conditions to the person in charge of the area and complies with safety and fire regulations and procedures.
