Registered Nurse, Manager

Reporting to the Site Administrator, the unit Manager is responsible for providing clinical leadership and operations management in the service areas of acute, emergency and LTC. Operational accountabilities are achieved through a presence and visibility in the areas of responsibility. The responsibilities of this position are focused around four aspects of care and service: People and teams. Access and flow. Quality, evidenced based practices and safety. Efficient, effective resource utilization. Through clinical leadership, Coaching, Mentoring, and Performance management, the unit Manager ensures high quality patient care. Required Qualifications:

Graduate from a recognized nursing education program, RN required, Degree preferred. Three to five years related experience in Clinical practice required. Demonstrated experience in a Leadership role. Acute Care and Emergency experience required. Active registration and practice permit with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA). ACLS required Ctas required.
